Homemade Model Rocket

100% homemade model rockets, engine and all, some eaven 3d printed.

Cardinal line

My first line of rockets were not the best, they were essentially an engine with some paper and cardboard to hold everything together

Endevor line

The Endevor series is moast notable for the transition from a 3/4 in. PVC pipe insted of the 1/2 in. PVC pipe engine shroud previously used. In addition to this it was descovered why so many Cardinal rockets failed, the engine was not produced properly. When drilling out the engine, I made the mistake of stopping right at the fuel, when the correct way was to drill all the way through the fuel, which increses the surface aria dramaticly. The Endevor sported a much larger reusable rocket body and paracute ejection system although it never was sucsessfull

Me finding out why you should'nt use hot glue to hold together a rocket, luckaly this was just a test.

Series 3

Series 3 is marked by the adoption of a sucsessfull paracute ejectoin system along with an altimeter sensor and moast notably, a camera. Series 3 rockets were mainly constructed of cardboard and papermache.

For a breef period in this series, I persued a alternatve to the paracute ejection system, a lithobrake system that used two sacraficial popsicale sticks to brake the fall of the rocket.

Series 4

Series 4 marked the adaptation of 3d printed bodys
