Went climbing in maple canyon, UT. Did'nt do much climbing since it is a really weird style and most of the climbing in maple canyon is pretty hard. I climbed three routes at the mouth of box canyon, not sure what the names of the routes were.
Added much neede insulation to the roof of my van as well as installing a window ac unit to the back of my car. While the window unit is very ugly it is extremely nice. Yes it does suck up power, I can only run it for 2.5 hours on full blast on a full charge.
Climbed 'outside Corner' on the JCOB wall in big cottonwood canyon with my dad. We were the middle of three parties on the wall, in the nicest way posible, the party in front of us was veary slow and it took maybe 2-3 hours to compleate a 3 pitch 5.7 climb.
Climbed 'Squize my Lemon', a 5.7 single pitch crack climb. I had never done a crack climb prior to this climb and I fouind it extremely hard. On anougher note I thought it would be a good idea to bring the 50m rope since we were only doing single pitch climbes. Unfortunitely the 50m did not reach, good thing I didnt forget to tie a stopper knot! I had to climb the rope and build a trad anchor for TR-ing.
My dad left today, I rope-solo-ed in ledgemore logs, a veary easy sport crag.
Bought a single portaledge and fly on FB marketplace for $400, went to dogwood crag to practice setting it up
