Today I set a personal record for most pitches climbed in one day, 20. I could have done more if I did'nt start so late. I arived at eldorado at 12, and after getting ready and hikeing to the base of Rewritten at 1 I started climbing. I was lucky that there was no one else on this route, I linked up the first three pitches which can be done with a 70m almost exactly. When i previously climbed this route I noticed some cams stuck in the traverse crack on pitch 5, I brought a mini hammer and screwdriver to attemt to claim a free cam without damageing the rock. Unfortunitely I was not sucsesfull. The last pitch was my favorite, the view is amazing and the climbing is easy. After summiting and takeing in the view I began the walk off which felt like it took forever. On the way down, I passed Wind Ridge which I decided on doing mainly to beat my previous time of 90 min. I linked up all three pitches and my total start to finish time was 48 min. After resting in my van I climbed the first pitch of The Bastille Crack to finish the day off.
Today I climbed 'Cozyhang' a 3 pitch 5.7 at The Dome. Honestly most of the climbing was lousy an not very enjoyable. The climbing style was mostly slaby.
Today my dad joined me on the trip as my climbing partner, he arived in the morning and then climbed in eldo doing Brezy and Wind Ridge.
Today I took my dad on 'Rewritten' the 6p 5.7. I linked up the first 3 pitches which is almost exactly 70m, I also linked p 5 & 6. My dad got tired and had to acend the rope on the last pitch.
Today we drove to St. George
